Sarah Anstine
Director of Partnership and Outreach
An addiction treatment and recovery leader, Anstine has dedicated her professional life to advancing behavioral health systems to ensure successful long-term outcomes for people with substance use disorders. Before joining OneOhio, Anstine served as the Executive Associate Director of Community Relations and State Policy for Alkermes, where she worked with community leaders to promote practices and policies advancing systemic change to address the addiction crisis. Anstine has also worked at The Ohio State University where she created the Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC), a support program designed to help students in recovery from substance use disorders. She also helped establish the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery and served as its Director of Recovery. Anstine has been recognized nationally for her work, including an appointment to serve on SAMHSA’s Advisory Committee for Women’s Services, representing the needs of women and girls in recovery. A graduate of Texas Tech University and The Ohio State University, Anstine and her husband reside in northeast Ohio.
Anstine has made it her life’s purpose to ensure that others have the same opportunities she did to enter and sustain long-term recovery from addiction, and she looks forward to advancing this mission through her work at OneOhio.
