2024 Grant AWARDs

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is committed to ensuring all Foundation funding awards support evidence-based, forward-looking strategies for the purposes of prevention, treatment, recovery, and abatement of substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Funding announcements for the 2024 Regional Grant Cycle began in October and will continue on a rolling basis on “Grant Award Wednesdays” until all grants are announced. All approved OneOhio Recovery Foundation awards will be maintained on this page. Please check back for updates and sign up to receive future grant announcements from the Foundation.

Due to an overwhelming response generating more than 1,400 grant applications, the Foundation was not able to fund all applications received in this first-ever grant cycle. Though we know funding will always be limited, we are incredibly grateful to all applicants for bringing their ideas forward, and we look forward to continuing our work to support evidence-based programs and services in the future.

Grant Review Process

All grantees have been chosen through a transparent and collaborative process that includes input from each of the 19 OneOhio Regions, the OneOhio Expert Panel, the Grant Oversight Committee, the full Board of Directors and Foundation staff. Ensuring integrity throughout the application and review process is paramount, which is why systems are in place to identify and eliminate conflicts of interest at all levels of the review process. (The Quick Guide to Avoiding Conflicts of Interest is available here.)

NOTE: While the Foundation is tasked with distributing 55% of the opioid settlement funds, 15% goes directly to the State of Ohio and 30% goes directly to Ohio local governments.
