Statewide Board Director - Speaker of the Ohio House Appointee

Now in her second term representing Ohio’s 79th House District—which includes the majority of Columbiana County and all of Carroll County—Monica Robb Blasdel brings a strong blend of public and private sector experience to her role on the OneOhio board. Her legislative work has focused on a range of policy issues, including workforce development and education—critical areas that often intersect with both the root causes of addiction and the long-term strategies needed to address it.

A lifelong resident of Columbiana County, Robb Blasdel is committed to supporting rural and Appalachian communities that have been especially hard hit by the addiction crisis. She understands that these areas frequently lack the resources necessary to make long-term recovery achievable, facing barriers such as limited transportation, fewer treatment options, and a shortage of community-based services. As a member of the OneOhio board, she is focused on ensuring the Foundation invests in prevention, treatment, and recovery strategies that are evidence-based and responsive to the unique needs of communities across Ohio.
