Denise Driehaus

The first woman elected to the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners (in 2016), Driehaus currently serves as vice president of the BOCC. During her former tenure as commissioner board president, Driehaus led the county through the COVID-19 Pandemic and secured federal funding to help stabilize the region. Since joining the BOCC, Driehaus has advanced the work of the Hamilton County Addiction Response Coalition, which has saved countless lives by helping connect county residents suffering from the opioid outbreak to treatment and long-term recovery. Prior to her service as a Commissioner, Driehaus served four terms in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 31st Ohio House District. Before entering public service full-time, she owned and operated two small businesses. A graduate of Miami of Ohio, she is the mother of two children and resides in Cincinnati.
