Keith Hochadel
Region 6 Director and Foundation Board Secretary
After losing his pharmacy license due to his substance use and alcoholism, Hochadel has committed his life to working in the behavioral health field. Since 2021, he has served as the Executive Director of Men’s Challenge, a faith-based job readiness and case management agency in Stark County. Before that, Hochadel served as CEO of CommQuest, leading a team focused on creating solutions to combat the opioid epidemic. He is also Chief Clinical Officer for Meridian Healthcare, an active member of the Ohio Alliance of Recovery Providers, a licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervision designation, and a non-attorney member of the Stark County Bar Grievance Committee. Hochadel and his wife, Sarah, are parents to a son and daughter who attend Canton Local schools and a married son who lives with his wife in Cuyahoga Falls.
As someone who has been in recovery for more than 25 years, the opioid epidemic is personal for Hochadel. He believes our state can work together better than anywhere else in the country, giving us a great opportunity to maximize these resources and make a real difference in our communities.
