Prevention. Treatment. Recovery.

About the organization

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is a private non-profit organization created at the direction of Ohio’s state and local leaders to distribute 55 percent of the funds our state will receive from the pharmaceutical industry as a consequence of its role in the national opioid epidemic. The Foundation will work with local interests to support substance misuse prevention, treatment and recovery efforts and invest funds to support these efforts for Ohioans into the future.

Public Meetings

Though the Foundation is a private non-profit organization and not a government agency, its public mission mandates that it conduct its business in an open, transparent manner. Accordingly, the Foundation holds public meetings.

“Establishing the OneOhio Recovery Foundation is the next step in enhancing Ohio’s prevention, treatment, and recovery support services. The investments made by the Foundation will create an opportunity for local communities to plan for and sustain efforts that address the ever-evolving drug epidemic. There is not one part of the state that hasn’t been impacted by the opioid crisis, and this is critical to beginning the healing process.”
