Tom Whiston

Region 18 Director

Whiston, a longtime Morrow County pharmacist and elected official, has been a steadfast advocate for his fellow north-central Ohio residents and his constituents for many years. Whiston served as Mt. Gilead mayor for 11 years before successfully running for county commissioner. He has also served as first vice-president of the County Commissioners of Ohio and worked as both Chairman of the Delaware, Knox, Marion Morrow Joint Solid Waste District, and as past president of the Ohio Pharmacist’s Association. He is a proud father and grandfather.

As a pharmacist and as an elected official, Whiston is committed to reducing the number of overdose deaths in Ohio as well as shrinking the availability of drugs.
