Sarah Anstine’s work as the Director of Partnership and Outreach at OneOhio is driven by more than just professional expertise - it is rooted in her own lived experience in recovery. Having navigated the challenges of addiction firsthand, she has dedicated her career to ensuring that others have the same opportunities she did to access treatment, find community support, and sustain long-term recovery. Before joining OneOhio, she worked to advance addiction policy and community-based solutions at Alkermes and played a pivotal role at The Ohio State University, where she created the Collegiate Recovery Community to support students in recovery. Her leadership in these spaces, combined with her national recognition - such as serving on SAMHSA’s Advisory Committee for Women’s Services - demonstrates her unwavering commitment to breaking down barriers for those struggling with substance use disorders.

Anstine’s personal journey fuels her passion for advocacy, outreach, and partnership-building at OneOhio. She understands firsthand the urgency of expanding access to quality care and the need for strong, supportive systems that help individuals achieve lasting recovery.
